To expand our team, we are hiring a skilled WordPress Developer to deliver high-quality and scalable solutions. The applicant should have a good knowledge of WordPress, front-end development, and effectively resolve technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain WordPress sites with themes, templates, and page builders that are responsive in performance.
• Collaborate with designers and content teams to get mockups into functional web pages with clean and efficient code via HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Customize existing themes and plugins, including Elementor, ACF, and WooCommerce, to meet project requirements and enhance functionality.
• Monitor website performance, search engine optimization, and cross-browser compatibility to derive results.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and guarantee the continuous smooth functioning of the site.
• Maintain version control and project documentation to track code changes and workflows.
• Ensure websites are mobile-friendly and accessible to multiple users with different device specifications.
• Understanding of WordPress core updates, new tools to make web projects better in terms of continuous improvement.
• Continuously review and enhance website code to improve development quality and team collaboration.
• Participate in sprint meetings and project discussions to align tasks, receive feedback, and coordinate with teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in CS, SE, IT, or any other related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in WordPress development (portfolio or GitHub required).
• Strong understanding of WordPress CMS, publishing, theme modification, and integration of plugins to assist practical work on the project.
• Understanding of modern development tools (Gulp/Webpack, Composer, Local by Flywheel, Docker).
• Knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3 (SASS/SCSS), JavaScript/jQuery to develop and edit parts of the sites and structure them.
• Experience with multisite or multilingual (WPML/Polylang) setups
• Able to work with well-known page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg, or ACF to create functional pages.
• Detail-oriented and good at problem-solving to recognize, debug, and solve technical problems in developing websites.
• Cooperative towards teamwork in a team setup, and be proactive in task ownership and learning opportunities
