Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Handle software development projects through scoping, objectives, deliverables, and within time.
  • Organize internal sources and third parties or vendors to facilitate the concurrent running of various projects.
  • Able to fulfill the requirements of the project according to defined plans, sprints, and tasks, through Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • Manage daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, and track tasks and blockers promptly.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation measures to ensure timely delivery.
  • Act as the bridge between clients and teams, give feedback on their projects regularly, and keep them updated.
  • Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and tracking of the project’s milestones and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, QA engineers, and stakeholders in handling projects successfully.
  • Manage the workflow with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Notion, or other similar tools.
  • Maintain quality standards while balancing scope, resources, and deadlines for all ongoing projects.
  • Develop a team-oriented approach with full accountability and a continuous improvement mentality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in project management, especially in the software industry.
  • Good knowledge of Agile and Scrum practices, and practical experience in sprint planning and execution.
  • Experience working with project management tools like Jira, Trello, Asana, or Notion.
  • Outstanding communication and social skills to manage team groups with cross-functional teams and clients.
  • Able to handle multiple project assignments, and attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with the concepts and roles of team, technical knowledge and understanding the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Good problem solving, decision making and conflict management.
  • Able to keep project-wide documentation and reports to monitor project progress and performance.
